Being more than 25 years in the manufacturing industry, I have learnt that one and only one factor that works in winning customers on permanent basis is Product quality than wins Customer heart. Rest is Management Gimmickry. At GSAI, Quality always comes first where I have developed a system though which, I remain directly or indirectly involved. In this system, Voice of our customer reaches within 15 minutes of arrival in any of my SIX manufacturing plants. Our Quality system ensures that containment action is taken within 24 hours, including the resolution of Customer Concerns. It’s not just that; the corrective action and root cause analysis have to be reported to my office within three days. Such a procedure eliminates the possibility of recurrence, and that is the reason we have been able to capture 95 percent of the Indian market in Piston Rings and 35 percent of the global market in just four years. Another reason that we are proud of is our infrastructure, which allows us to develop and manufacture nearly 95 percent of the parts that go into our Agro Implements under one roof. Forging’s, Casting’s all type of machines for machining of Forging & Casting parts, and building in-house Gear Boxes for Rotavators, Super Seeders, Straw Reapers, and Choppers are just few examples. We have a clear vision of what we want to be: Agriculture Development Leaders, and we guide our business with five core values: Lead, Grow, Deliver, Sustain and Protect.
